About Us

Working out of The Alchemist in Ho Chi Minh City, David (STAB DAMAGE) brings tattoos with strong outlines, unapologetic designs, and a style that leaves nothing soft. Every piece is a permanent mark.

BACKGROUND

Start of 2019, David stepped away from Sweden’s design world and moved into tattooing, looking for something more direct and personal. Over time, the work grew through a mix of instinct, repetition, and a focus on refining each piece.

Coming back to Vietnam shifted the approach even more. The energy, movement, and everyday surroundings began to influence how each design is built, not just how it looks, but how it fits and flows with the body.

Every piece is thought through carefully. Placement, movement, how it will age. Nothing is rushed, nothing is added without reason.

THE HANGOUT STUDIOS

David began his tattoo journey in 2019 at The Hangout Studio, driven by a passion for honing his craft and telling stories through art. A self-taught artist, he found inspiration in Vietnam’s vibrant tattoo scene, where tradition meets innovation. Holly joined him later as his apprentice and partner in crime, bringing her own creative energy and vision to the studio.

Together, they thrive in a dynamic community surrounded by talented artists, constantly pushing boundaries and finding inspiration in collaboration. Every tattoo they create merges their artistic perspectives with the unique stories of their clients, resulting in meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces.

In 2022, he became co-owner of The Hangout Studio, further deepening their commitment to the artistic community and the craft they love.

FUTURE PLANS…

As of now, David are working with @nhatbe one of Vietnams masters in blackwork tattooing at @thealchemisttattoo located in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
